“Friday Road Show and Ghibli Exhibition,” an exhibition introducing the history of Nippon Television’s “Friday Road Show” and the appeal of Studio Ghibli’s works, will be held in Tokyo and Toyama. It will be held in Tokyo from June 29 to September 24. And in Toyama from October 7 to January 28, 2024. The exhibition is scheduled to tour throughout Japan.

The “Friday Roadshow and Ghibli Exhibition” will look back on each era and highlight the timelessness and universality of Studio Ghibli’s works. Other exhibits will include “Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind” which recreates the memorable scene “The Sea of Decomposition,” and a photo spot that allows visitors to dive into the world of Ghibli films.

In the “Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind” exhibit, sculptor Takayuki Takeya recreates the Sea of Decay. Ohmu and others will appear in front of visitors in a powerful size.

There will also be a photo spot where you can take pictures with posters of Ghibli’s works as if you were the main character. It will be interesting to see which work will be chosen after the exhibition period begins.
