Makoto Shinkai’s “Suzume Exhibition” will starts from Matsuya Ginza in Tokyo in 19 April, which tours the whole country!
An exhibition of the animation film “Suzume”will be held at Matsuya Ginza from 19 April to 8 May 2023. The film is directed by Makoto Shinkai and has attracted 10 million viewers and earned over 13.4 billion yen at the box office.
The “Suzume” exhibition will display valuable production materials from director Makoto Shinkai’s works, including drawings, storyboards and art backgrounds. Also, in special exhibition that can only be seen here, you can trace the footsteps of the journey taken by the Suzume and their friends.
Furthermore, after the exhibition finishes at the Matsuya Ginza department store in Tokyo, it will be held on a nationwide tour in Sapporo in Hokkaido from late May, Osaka from June, Kanazawa in Ishikawa from July and Fukuoka from September 2023.
